.....will be difficult to answer graphically. Answering it qualitatively wouldn't be easy either, but here are some hints:
2) The tetrahedral and octahedral voids are necessary by-products of putting closed-packed planes on top of each other as tightly as possible. You should be able to infer this from Problem 1.
1) Whether you're stacking it in order of AB or BC or CA or BA, they're all just different ways of putting close-packed planes of spheres on top of each other as tightly as possible.
